The Sun City Pattaya is the former Baiyoke Pattaya and the Erawan Hotel Pattaya. It is just walking distance from Walking street. At the moment the hotel has 138 rooms and another 100 rooms are under construction. The Sun City has completely renovated the earlier product and the only remnants of the past are the building exterior which still bears a shabbly look. But once inside the hotel, the hotel looks bright, fresh and completely refurbished. They have just 2 room categories which are Deluxe and Super deluxe now, the super deluxe being essentially the same but with more space. You may also be able to catch sea views if the rooms are high enough.
While the management claim to be a 4 star, I would put them as a good 3 star hotel with facilities to match. They have got an ISO9001: 2008 label that specifies they follow 4 star systems which is what they base the claim upon.
Tycoon Restaurant serves authentic South Indian and North Indian cuisines. They also have a No Egg bakery that serves eggless desserts.
The conference room is large and has a capacity of 500 pax in cocktail style. Two other function rooms are available which are good for smaller meetings.
