It is still risky to hire jet skis at Pattaya Beach

One of the problems that has consistently dogged Pattaya's otherwise very successful watersport activity in recent years is the jet ski scams. Pattaya City hall had set up a committee in the second half of 2012 comprising representatives of the jet ski business operator community and city hall representatives.

The solution that is being worked at is to have the jet skis insured and three insurance companies have made a pitch for the business. However no one company has been selected yet. So in the interim, let the tourist beware !
